New phase (Teaching Practice 2)

Today was the first day of Intense teaching practice phase 2 at the St Goretti's HSS Nalanchira school 🏫. Today i have to take class for 9D and 9B. Eventhough it was my second teaching practice, I was soo nervous like it was my first day as a teacher. But later I feel so free since the teachers welcomed with sweets, since it was St. Goretti's day.

I reached at the school on time ⏰ .Then me and my friends signed the attendance sheet. We had prayer session coordinated by our team members.We got seat at the auditorium to rest and completing our activities.

Each class consist of almost 60-65 students. It was very conjusted and felt little nervous to face such a big no of students.

Later i greeted students, they all seemed happy to see a student trainee teacher..They welcomed with pleasant face, it gave me more confidence.I took the chapter  Equations of motion and chemical bonding in those classes.

At 12:30 we went for lunch. Today duty was done by School  teachers, our duties will be alloted tomorrow .

After the class I worked on my lesson plans. At 3 30pm the school time ended. We returned home after signing the attendance register.

Today was the second day for us to wear saree and today we had our first assembly and it was led by the M. Ed students. While attending the assembly I feel nostalgic because, it was the first time for me to attend an assembly after so many years after completing my school days. During the Assembly there were news reading section, thought for the day and interesting news from our college campus. They also said the importance of the day February 17, the Historical events that took place in this particular day at different years. The Assembly ends by singing our college anthem.  Then  first two hours we had our optional classes and teacher asked us about the assignments she had given last day to write the lesson template. Then she taught us about scientific methods and different kinds of Thinking methods proposed by several scientist.  Then today we had a new class by Reju sir on performing arts and made as do many activities during his class and the class last to 45 minutes...
