28th Feb is celebrated as National science day to comemorate the great scientist Sir C. V. Raman.As a part of celebration we conducted online quiz competition for school students of std 7-12. All participants were given an e-generated certificate. Today we also had the second section of demonstration classes by our seniors.

 Today I felt a little relived after a week. One week before my friend was tested covid +ve. I was under the list of primary contact. All the students in hostel including me were asked to enter quarantine for seven days. I reached home back on that very day and entered for room quarantine.It was stressful days.....all day we have to be in a room with no contacts. The only relief was the video calls from my friends 'thanks to technology '😉. We lost almost 4days classes but our classmates took so many pains to make us understand topics that were taken on those days. Today my test result came and tested negative, thanks to 'the God Almighty 😍'. But to my surprise another student who was under quarantine was tested +ve. Now I continue my quarantine for few more days and to take a test once more. Hoping that everything will be fine. Thank you all for the prayers and support😍

 Today we had the online section for demonstration class by our seniors on digital teaching. Through this class they showed us the various ways that we can use to carry out digital classes. They introduced new applications which we can use to teach chemistry easily digitally:like apps to calculate valence electron, balancing of chemical equation etc.The classes was very informative and I would like to thank our seniors and our Teacher Neena miss for arranging such an informative section.         Thank you😍

  As usual the day starts with a small prayer at chapel. Then first hour was taken by our dear Gibi ma'am. She taught us about process of learning.Process is more important than product or Goal.Then she mentioned about Swan Effect “Be like a swan, graceful but furiously paddling below the surface.” For being the best we need to work hard. Then arrived our dear Maya ma'am. Each of us are in the tension and fear of Test paper. Luckily, the teacher postponed the exam and taught the rest of realism:Curriculum,Subjects,Teaching Methods,Maximum sensory Experience through Audio/Visual aids etc.Then she explains about six steps of Herbartian approach of lesson planning. Next was our Optional hour.Neena madam taught us about six steps of scientific methods. Also taught us Mills's cannons law In the afternoon, our Ancy teacher took the class.   As usual the  day starts with a small prayer. Then  f irst hour was taken by Maya ma'am. she taught us  the Aims of Education, Harmony and Curriculum of  the Realism school of philosophy. She then told  that, the key elements of life is the real life  experiences of an individual.  The second hour was taken by Archana ma'am. She  taught us the Foundational theories of psychology - Behaviorism,  Cognitive Psychology, Humanistic Psychology and the Gestalt Psychology.  The third and fourth hour was taken by our respected principal Benedict Sir. Sir said that, teaching could create an "Aha Experience" to the learners. Earlier education is considered as a bipolar concept (teacher and student)  and now it is changed to a tripolar concept which includes: teacher, student and society. What is mean by a Stakeholder:-  the one who has a  responsible position in any organizational management can be called as a stakeholder...

 As usual the day starts with Prayer. Morning we had yoga class. The second hour was taken by Maya ma'am. She taught us the demerits of Naturalism and entered to the third school of philosophy that is,  Realism. And she shared the over all idea of realism.    The third hour was taken by Ancy ma'am.  she introduced Vygotsky (psychologyist) and Noam Chomsky (American Linguist) and their contributions to language. Vygotsky contributed four stages for the development of language. According to Chomsky, children learn language by five steps. Thus she completed her portions in psychology.  The fourth hour was taken by Archana ma'am . She taught us for the first time. She taught us  Psychology, it's branches and schools of psychology . Then she moved to Structuralism and Functionalism.  The fifth hour was taken by Giby ma'am. She taught us the Learning Process  of educational psychology. Today was the second day for us to wear saree and today we had our first assembly and it was led by the M. Ed students. While attending the assembly I feel nostalgic because, it was the first time for me to attend an assembly after so many years after completing my school days. During the Assembly there were news reading section, thought for the day and interesting news from our college campus. They also said the importance of the day February 17, the Historical events that took place in this particular day at different years. The Assembly ends by singing our college anthem.  Then  first two hours we had our optional classes and teacher asked us about the assignments she had given last day to write the lesson template. Then she taught us about scientific methods and different kinds of Thinking methods proposed by several scientist.  Then today we had a new class by Reju sir on performing arts and made as do many activities during his class and the class last to 45 minutes...

  The clases starts with a small prayer at college chapel. Principal announced us to gather for the inauguration of pheonitics lab.It was very innovative idea,we learned the pronunciation of two words "genre" and "rendezvous. I would like to congragulate the students of English dept for this new initiation .Principal sir told us that we all should make use this facility to improve our language skill . We were inspired by his inaugural speech. First hour was taken by Ancy miss, she taught us the  stages of kohlberg's moral development.Next hour was taken by Maya miss she taught us the Forms of Naturalism .and its levels . Next hour joju sir taught us the 4 Revolutions  in education,The 5 M's in educational technology and its meaning too. Afternoon 2  hours are optional.we do our assighnments at that time. Today I was a little sad because,today is the last day of  talent hunt and tomorrow onwards we are going back to our regular classes. As usual classes starts with prayer at 9 a.m.  First class was taken by Giby Mam and she taught us about education psychology. She sang apoem and asked us to imagine about the things which is explained in that poem.  Then she teaches us about  the competency required for a teacher.  The next section was taken by Maya mis. She taught us about naturalism and type of naturalism.  Then we had our optional classes by Neena miss,she taught us about science.  In the afternoon section we had the Talent Hunt show by the students of Malayalam  and social science department. The programs done by the students where mind blowing.

 As usual I reached at college by 9:00 am. After prayer we were waiting for our general classes . But today we don't had our general classes instead we had an orientation class by Dr. G. V Hari sir. He took class on the topic Understanding teacher learning (ULT). He discussed about the three phases of teaching learning. His class was so interesting and informative. Teacher should have 'A SMILE'. He made his class interesting by singing small poem written by Kunjunny Mash. Afternoon section we had talent hunt by natural science and English. Both of them performed very well. All the programs were soo interesting 

 Today i was soo excited and also very nervous  because its our talent day. We all reached college early and started our practice. We all were so anxious about our program since it was our first initiation. Morning section we had classes by Maya miss and Ancy ma'am. Then we done our final practice. Afternoon section we had our talent hunt and it was a very wonderful experience. We all enjoyed and done our best for a very powerful experience  All of us used our max effort to make this a grant success. I would like to thank all my friends for support with their applause and cheering. I also like to thank our teacher Neena maam for all the support and prayers 😍😍.. Thank you

 Today I was soo busy with draping saree for my friends, it was saree day at college and inagrual function for our academic year. Morning we had our practice section and Ancy ma'ams class on child development. Afternoon section talent hunt program starts. Today it was the performance by our M. Ed students. Each and every program were enjoyable 

Today I went to college with full of excitement ready for talent day practices. Morning Joju sir came earlier and enquired us about the innovative ideas for next days inagrual function. He also gave tally for each students who give ideas for the function.The we had class on child development by Ancy ma'am.During Maya ma'ams hour new students introduced themselves and we all welcomed them to our family.Then we had optional period and we discussed about what we meant by science. After noon section, we were alloted to clean our lab and class. Then we practiced for talent day

It was the first day of the week and a sunny day.We started today's journey with a prayer. We the physical science students searched a name for our association for so many days and finalized as Solasta meaning shining. Then created a class tree and also created an emblem for our association. We placed our class tree and emblem in our notice board. Today we had classes of Giby ma'am, Maya ma'am and Neena ma'am. The class leaders were called by the principal to get our chance number for the performance in the talent hunt.We got the chance to perform Thursday afternoon. During afternoon section we had an interactive section with our Principal for the first time from the day of admission. Last we had the summary of the panel discussion of each department conducted by Joju sir.. Thank you😃

 Today the classes starts as usual with the prayer. In the morning section we had the classes by Maya miss and Ancy ma'am. Maya ma'am taught us about the schools of philosophy while we had a section on developments in early childhood by Ancy ma'am.During our optional period Neena ma'am selected the organogram ans we selected Nikhil as our class leader and Deepa Benny as our asst leader. All were given different duties to carry out  I got the incharge of technology. Today was the first friday of the month and we all went to attend the Holy Qurbana in the college chapel.Then in the afternoon section we got the chance to practice for our talent hunt. It was a very beautiful dayy😍😍

Today we had yoga classes in the morning section. Sir taught us neuro-muscular asanas, like vajrasana and sugasana. Then we recollected the posters studied last week. I felt so refreshed after the yoga classes. Then we has philosophy class by Maya miss. She taught us the influence of philosophy on education. Then she conducted an activity  to determine ones personality. Then we had optional hour and we selected the representatives of our class.Each students were given a responsibility. Afternoon we had library hour, we went there and searched for books useful for our assignments.After that we had the remaining presentation by the reports of the groups. Last hour we discussed about talent hunt.

 It was an yet another day of our college days. Today we started with our optional classes by Neena ma'am.Second hour was taken by Gibi ma'am and taught about psycho analytic theory by Sigmund Freud. Then we had presentation by the reports of 8 groups guided by Joju sir.The presentation was on the topic disadvantage of technology and the use of technology in education. All the presentations were outstanding and informative. Afternoon section we had classes by Maya miss and Ancy miss. Then we played basketball during physical education period.

 Today was yet another day of being a student teacher. As always classes starts with prayer and first section was done by Ancy mam. She taught us a new theory of Erickson's Psycho-social development. As we were waiting for the next section on general class; unexpectedly we got a chance to see the curriculum related arts program by our seniors. All the programs were enjoyable with a relevant theme. In the afternoon section we had classes by Neena ma'am and Joju sir. Today sir taught us the college anthem and we students sang the song together, it was a wonderful experience.Then sir said two inspiring stories and concluded the class with the thought  A Teacher Must Be a Mother to her Students .😃😃

 Today was the first day of the week and the month. As usual we reached college by 9:00am and started our day with the prayer. Today there was an ice breaking section with Mr. Joby and had an interesting section on the topic Reflective Self Discovery. The class was fantastic, he told that a good teacher is one who care, support, motivate his or her student who is in his difficulty and bring back their happiness . He also taught us to say no to someone or something whenever we want. The class was highly motivating. The afternoon section was taken by Dr.Maya ma'am and Dr. Joju sir. These sections were interesting as always. Last hour we had our physical education class.Today we played the game named Tiger and lamb, and also played basketball. Thankyou...😃
